Komanoto (ガードッグ Gādoggu) is the Adult form of Komainu. It evolves from Komainu, its Child form, and evolves into Komadoros, its Evolved form. Komanoto is a Spectrobe of the CoronaProperty in the first two games, and is a Spectrobe of the Fire Property in the third.
Komanoto is a red dog-like Spectrobe, with curly fur and large, curled ears (similar to the curl of a cinnamon bun). It has fangs, teeth and claws like any other dog, however its lips are light green. Also, it has 4 light-green shards between its brows, giving it a signature look when compared to other dog-like Spectrobes (such as Shimanoto).
Webisodes[]
A Komanoto appears in the Spectrobes webisodes starting with episode 8. Rallen had dug up a second Komainu before the events of the episode, and in it the Komainu is ready to evolve. The Komanoto battles with Rallen against the Krawl in episode 9, and he uses it in the final battle against the boss Krawl after using the Ultimate Form on it in episode 10.

Menu Commands:
A: 'Charge': Stands still and performs an animation, this causes the CH meter to be charged faster. Can be pushed around by Rallen or Krawl.
B: 'Stay': Stands still and ceases following Rallen, can still be pushed around by Rallen or Krawl.
X: 'Attack': Komanoto jumps up in place and bites, damaging Krawl in front of him.
Y: 'Follow': Resumes following Rallen if previously ordered to 'Charge' or 'Stay'.
CH Attack: Chawjaw (CH cost 1) - "Komanoto lunges at his enemies and then chomps them with his fangs!"

Trivia[]
Komanoto was one of the eight Spectrobes chosen by the game's creators put up for download in Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals via Nintendo Wifi Connection. Komanoto was selected by producer Kentaro Hisai, who took a liking to it after using it several times during the global media tour.
