Shakoblad (ザックズバーン Zakkuzubān) is an Evolved Spectrobe of the Flash Property in the first two games, and is a Water Property Spectrobe in the third. In Spectrobes: Origins, this Spectrobe's name is spelled Shakablad.

Appearance

Shakoblad is a sea dragon-like Spectrobe with purple scales covering its body. It has two large blades, one on its tail and another on its head. it uses these blades to slice its enemies to shreds.

• Control Scheme: Menu
• Menu Commands:
  • A: 'Stun': Dashes forward and slams its head down, hitting enemies leaves them paralyzed for a short time.
  • B: 'Stay': Stands still and stops following Rallen, can still be pushed by Rallen or Krawl.
  • X 'Attack': Dashes forward and slams its head down, dealing damage to enemies hit by the downward slash.
  • Y 'Follow': Resumes following Rallen if previously ordered to Stay or Charge.

• CH Attack: Axewhack (CH cost 2) - "Shakoblad swings his bladed head down and repels his enemies!"

Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals

• Normal: Thrusts its head at enemies; can attack up to three times consecutively.
• CH Attack: Axewhack - "Slams down its bladed head, damaging multiple enemies around it."

Spectrobes: Origins

• Strong Attack: Head Chop - "Shakablad chops with its axe-like head and slashes with its bladed tail!"
• Special Attack:
  Head Quake
  - "Shakablad attacks its foe with a shockwave from a head-slam into the ground!"
• Bonus Ability: Berserk+ - "The lower the HP, the higher ATK Shakablad and you will have." (MAX ATK +100%)

Trivia

• The second half of Shakoblad's Japanese name comes from the intransitive verb (ずばぬける, pronounced "zubanukeru") meaning to be outstanding or to be better than the rest. This probably hints at Shakoblad being an Evolved Form Spectrobe. In Origins, this name can be attributed to one of the memos, where it says that he can cut through anything.
• In Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals and the official artwork for Shakoblad, it appears to have a silver belly. However, on the concept art and in Spectrobes: Origins it has a pink belly.
