A Mineral is a special type of metal that a Spectrobe can be fed in the Incubator. They are found by exploring the land, using your child Spectrobe to search, and excavating them with tools. In Spectrobes, when a mineral is detected, the beams of light for minerals is blue. The same occurs in Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals, but the beams no longer appear in Spectrobes: Origins.
Spectrobes Minerals
Minerals are found in the open space of the planets, where you fight Krawl. Once you discover a mineral with a Child Spectrobe, you then proceed to dig it out of the ground using various tools. Pyramids boost attack, rectangles boost defense, and crescents boost health.

Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals Minerals
In order to dig up minerals from Beyond the Portals, you must clear all battles in the area, since your Child Spectrobe disappears. Like the first game, you must uncover these Minerals by digging, but there are more tools to use and more scenarios when excavating, such as Lava, Ice, Sand, Water and Murky Water.
- Cor/Fla/Aur C: 10% increase*; 5% increase if a mineral is used on a Spectrobe of a different property.
- Cor/Fla/Aur B: 20%
- Cor/Fla/Aur A: 40%
- Cor/Fla/Aur A+ 60%
(*If the incubator room's property matches the spectrobe being fed, the increase is doubled.) View more Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals minerals.
Spectrobes: Origins Minerals
To find minerals in Origins, the system is a little different. You send your child Spectrobe to a place where there are blue crystal-like sparkles coming from the ground, the Spectrobe searches and uncovers it. After it's uncovered, you or your Spectrobe simply have to touch it in order to obtain it. There is a special black mineral, however. Once your child form uncovers it, it will almost always run to it. Touching a black mineral will result in a battle (and 10 EXP for your Child spectrobe); usually only one or two waves of Krawl appear.
Here is a mineral list.
