  • Although Optoger's Special Attack, Dual Shower, is stated as a melee attack, enemies with ranged attack protection receive less damage from this attack simply because it is a ranged attack. This could be a technical mistake, although there are no official sources to support this claim.
  • The name Naguryu is a romanisation of two Japanese kanji characters, 殴 (nagu, meaning 'to beat' in its natural form) and 龍 (ryu, meaning dragon), denoting the Spectrobe's appearance.
  • The Japanese kanji 雷 (rai, meaning 'thunder') is printed on Thundora's shoulders.
  • Although Ojizama's official artwork depicts it with a snake-like head on the end of its tail, the in-game model in Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals does not feature this.
  • Komainu is solely based off of ancient Japanese guardian lion-dogs called Komainu.
  • In the Japanese version of Spectrobes: Origins, the Ultimate Form Spectrobe Kaio is addressed as 極限 (kyokugen, meaning 'limit' or 'extreme').
  • Kaio is the only Spectrobe to not have an in-game model on the Spectrobes: Origins game disc, only appearing in certain cutscenes. Naturally, this also means that Kaio is the only Spectrobe lacking a database entry.
  • Rallen's voice actor, Yuri Lowenthal, is also the voice actor for Ben Tennyson in the Ben 10 series.
  • In Spectrobes: OriginsKomadoros has 4 sets of claws, but in the official artwork he doesn't.
  • Spiko, Spikan and Spikanor are the only Aurora Spectrobes from the 1st and 2nd games to return in Spectrobes: Origins.
  • Tekkadorax, Korozama, Danaphant, and Daidongu all weigh exactly 3968 pounds.
  • In Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals and the Official Artwork for Shakoblad, Shakoblad appears to have a silver belly. However, in the Concept Art and in Spectrobes: Origins Shakoblad has a pink belly. The same goes for Shakin.
  • In Spectrobes: Origins (the book), despite the proper spelling of Komanoto being present, some mentions within the book improperly spell its name as "Komonatu."
